Joint Programmable Fuze

The FMU-152A/B is the Joint Programmable Fuze (JPF) — the standard multifunction bomb fuze for U.S. and allied air forces. Designed for both hard and soft target applications, the JPF provides selectable fuzing options across the broadest range of general-purpose and penetrator weapons in the U.S. inventory.

Height of Burst Sensor

FireBurst® is a precision Height-of-Burst (HoB) sensor designed for laser guided bombs. Field-installable and self-powered, FireBurst® transforms standard Laser Guided Bombs (LGB) into precision airburst weapons — delivering a significant force multiplication capability without platform modification.

Full design-to-delivery control under one roof — from engineering concept through full-rate production. Our Middletown, Connecticut facility houses every discipline required to take a fuzing or sensor system from initial concept through qualification, production, acceptance testing, and lifecycle support.

Engineering

Our engineering team provides full design and development services for fuzing systems, safe and arm devices, and precision sensors. From initial concept through detailed design, modeling, and simulation, our engineers leverage decades of fuzing-specific expertise.

Testing & Qualification

Comprehensive environmental, mechanical, and electrical testing to military standards including MIL-STD-1316. Our in-house test laboratories enable rapid iteration during development and full qualification testing for production programs.

Manufacturing

Precision manufacturing with tight tolerances at scale. Our production facilities support full-rate manufacturing across multiple product lines simultaneously, with capacity to deliver more than 25,000 units annually.

Quality Assurance

AS9100D certified quality management ensures mission-critical reliability on every unit we produce. Our quality system encompasses incoming inspection, in-process controls, final acceptance testing, and continuous improvement.

Production Support

Specialized logistics and sustainment services throughout the full system lifecycle. From initial delivery through long-term sustainment, our team manages packaging, shipping, spare parts, field support, and training.

Special Processes

In-house special process capabilities for the most demanding defense manufacturing requirements. These include J-Standard soldering, X-Ray, Welding, in house machining, environmental testing, and more. Our approved processes ensure quality and compliance without the delays and risks of outsourced operations.

AS9100D

Aerospace quality management system certification. Our QMS meets the rigorous requirements of the aerospace and defense industry, ensuring consistent process control, traceability, and continuous improvement across all operations.

ITAR

Full compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations. All technical data, products, and services are managed in accordance with U.S. Department of State export control requirements.

MIL-STD-1316

Compliance with the Department of Defense standard for fuze safety design and testing. All safe and arm devices are designed and tested to meet the requirements of MIL-STD-1316 for both development and production.

CMMC

 Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification compliance for the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) is on track to DFARS incorporation timeline. Completed self-assessment and progressing with compliance to DFARS/NIST 800-171 timeline for information systems and processes to meet DoD cybersecurity requirements.
