Heritage of Precision
Founded in 1938 as Raymond Engineering then merged with Kaman Aerospace, Precision Fuzing & Sensors has spent more than eight decades at the forefront of fuzing technology for defense and aerospace applications. What began as a specialized manufacturing operation has grown into one of the most experienced fuzing and sensor organizations in the world — trusted by every branch of the U.S. military and allied nations across the globe.
Our experienced workforce brings detailed knowledge of designing and manufacturing high-reliability safe and arm devices across dozens of platforms. From the Joint Programmable Fuze to next-generation LiDAR sensors for unmanned systems, our proven track record spans the full spectrum of fuzing technology — delivering highly-engineered, reliable, and innovative solutions to the world's most demanding defense applications.

Our Facility
Middletown, Connecticut
Our vertically integrated facility in Middletown, Connecticut houses every capability required to take a fuzing or sensor system from initial concept through full-rate production — all under one roof. Engineering, testing, manufacturing, quality assurance, and production support operate side by side, enabling rapid iteration, tight quality control, and the responsiveness that defense programs demand.
Precision Fuzing & Sensors also owns an 80 acre range in Orlando, Florida capable of handling explosives for fuze load and pack, as well as live fire testing of fuzes and small warheads. In addition, we have an office located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates specifically to address customer needs in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
